Leadership and Experience
Len Vicente – President: District Nine is proudly owned and operated by Len Vicente, who brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and over 18 years in the ICI sector. His hands-on knowledge and leadership equip him to navigate the complexities of project delivery with confidence and precision. Len’s expertise in estimating, project management, and contract documentation, combined with his in-depth understanding of constructability, ensures accurate tender pricing and reliable execution. His strong relationships within the commercial sub-trade market also help secure competitive pricing and trusted partnerships. With a strong work ethic and a leadership style that fosters collaboration, Len and the District Nine team are dedicated to driving successful outcomes on every project.
Denise Sousa – General Manager: Denise is a highly efficient and diligent professional with over 13 years in the construction industry and over 10 years in the ICI sector. Denise is a capable leader with strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail that compliments the team for effective task completion. She has great enthusiasm for delivering excellent service to clients and all team members. Denise has a genuine commitment for upholding company policies and procedures while continuing to motivate the team. She is a key contributer to our success.

Our field team is trained in identifying hazards and how to address them accordingly. We ensure all work is conducted by qualified technicians.
Origin of our Name
We are proud to be Canadian and moreover, proud to work in Canada’s largest city, Toronto. While Toronto is made up of many different neighbourhoods, there are eight distinct districts that are distinguished by their character and history. The Design District, the Discovery District, the Distillery District, the Entertainment District, the Fashion District, the Financial District, the Garden District and the Studio District. Our claim is that there is a ninth district; Construction which is citywide.
